VBYC needs staining 4 more cabins!
There is a staining event planned for Saturday, September 26. A group of 8-10 can stain a cabin within 3 hours. Stain will be provided at camp, but extra brushes & rollers will be needed. Any interested volunteers, please contact Andrea Koch. More details on the event schedule coming soon!

VBYC Needs help with cabin renovations!
Thirteen of the cabins on Cabin Row need staining. A group of 8-10 can stain a cabin within 3 hours. Groups can donate the cost of stain and supplies or have VBYC pay for it. Any group who volunteers their time will have their name added to the cabin. Groups can volunteer their time on Saturday afternoons throughout the summer. Call 269-521-3855 or contact Becky Pasman.

Attn: Leadership 2009 campers
As a leadership service project, we will be working with the Van Buren County Red Cross constructing kits for families who have been through house fires.
We need help collecting items for kits:
- Child’s Kit – washcloth, toothbrush, sm toothpaste, small soap, child’s shampoo, comb, and crayon and coloring book.
- Adult Kit - washcloth, tissues, toothbrush, shave gel and shaver, comb, small toothpaste, bottle of shower gel, stick deodorant, mild shampoo, opt. hand and body lotion.
If you have or collect items to donate, please contact Becky Pasman.
We will keep a posting of what we have here, on Twitter, and Facebook.
If there is a leadership camper who would like to be in charge of updating and maintaining this list, contact Becky Pasman.
