Grades 1-3

  • Little Bear | Jun 30 - Jul 2 | $135

    The VBYC experience begins with Little Bear. It is a short session designed to help campers adjust to living comfortably in a group setting, assist children with exploring outdoors and participating in the camp experience. In this three day and two night session, campers will swim, canoe*, play games, sing, dance, participate in skits, and eat great camp food. (*Weather or wind permitted)  You can add an extra day if your little one is up for the challenge!

    Extended Little Bear | Jul 2-3 | $40

    If your child is ready for the challenge of an extra day away, add Extended Little Bear.  The group is about 50 campers which means we can do even more fun stuff on our last afternoon and evening together!

Grades 3-6

  • Great Bear | Jun 23-29 | $350

    Great Bear is for the child ready to try new experiences, improve upon camp skills, nurture leadership skills, and build community. VBYC’s Early Youth camps do just that; they help a child grow in independence & confidence!

Grades 3-7

  • Explorer | Aug 7-11 | $315

    Explorer will help children in grades 3-7 grow socially, physically and emotionally through recreational activities, cabin challenges, and all camp activities. The Explorer session is for children who want a crazy last hurrah for their summer.  We will continue to learn and improve upon camp skills, encourage leadership, and build community, but with a specific focus on nature and outdoor living skills.

Grades 5-8

  • Wolverine | Jul 7-13 | $350

    In Middle Youth Camps, campers take a more active role in running the program. At White Pine, we help campers identify and improve emerging leadership skills. During Wolverine, campers spend a day in a specialty program of their choice with kids having the same interests. Both camps give campers more time to widen their circle of lifelong Camp friends.

Grades 4-9

  • Discovery | Jul 14-20 | $350

    In VBYC’s Discovery Camping Session, campers follow a journey of self-discovery, pushing their boundaries both through exploring our natural world and through living together with a diverse age range. This session is the sister session to Frontier.

    Sleep Over Saturday (SOS) | Jul 20-21 | $60

    Campers registered for both Discovery and Frontier can spend a low key Saturday night together while we wait for our new Frontier friends to arrive on Sunday. It will allow the campers, staff and volunteers some time to rejuvenate and get to know each other better! (Up to 40 campers).

    Frontier | Jul 21-27 | $350

    The Frontier sessions is a week of traditional camp program with the option of branching out into outdoor living skills for the more advanced camper. Campers will have the opportunity to explore and learn more outdoor living skills in a safe environment supervised by staff at all times. Discovery and Frontier are sister sessions.

Grades 6-9

  • White Pine - Early Leadership | Jul 28 - Aug 2 | $325

    In Middle Youth Camps, campers take a more active role in running the program. At White Pine, we help campers identify and improve emerging leadership skills. Grades 9-12

  • Leadership and Counselor Workshop* | Jun 16-22 | $350

    High school students learn and develop specific leadership skills that will help them in school, clubs, communities, and relationships throughout their lives. They attend daily workshops, meet & learn from visiting speakers, work on special interest projects, and receive camp counselor training.

    *A 14-year-old entering ninth grade may apply to attend LW with two letters of reference and a personal essay stating why they would like to attend Leadership Workshop.

    Those interested in taking leadership to the next level (or who can’t fit Leadership into their schedule due to school or summer travel) may apply to participate in our counselor or staff-in-training programs offered during most camping sessions.  To be able to counsel each season,  they would be required to attend  Advanced Leadership.

Grades 10-12

  • Advanced Leadership | Jul 3-6 | $175

    This three day workshop is for your high school age child who is up for a real challenge and possesses an adventurous spirit. Enrollment is limited to those who have attended our Leadership Workshop in the past AND have been a Counselor in one of our traditional programs at least once. We will be utilizing their talents to help promote and develop programs for VBYC while enjoying smaller group activities. A perfect session for your graduating senior! Those who wish to counsel and cannot attend the traditional Leadership Workshop, can get their counselor training during this mini-session.

Women 21+

  • Women’s Wellness Weekend | Sep 26-29 | $175

    Take time for just YOU! Join us at VBYC for a weekend of fun, fitness and renewal. We will offer a mixture of traditional camp activities, craft classes, fitness activities, and free time. Enjoy delicious meals and sleep in rustic cabins with detached bath facilities. Cabins sleep a maximum of nine. We have so many activities packed into one weekend, that we extended the schedule by an extra day. If you can break free from home, you can begin this amazing experience on Thursday night!  ($145 for Fri.-Sun.)
